The staff at Guest Memorials works with you and your family to ensure the stone you get is exactly the stone you were looking for. We use local suppliers and area small businesses whenever possible to give you the best that Vermont and New Hampshire have to offer.
A monument is not merely a grave marker or a headstone, it symbolizes devotion. It is more than a means to mark your loved one’s final resting place. A monument serves as a timeless expression of love and an enduring reminder that would last a lifetime.
At Guest Memorials, we aim to provide you with a superior monument that will serve as your family’s passion and heritage, something that you can take pride in for generations to come.
We can personalize memorials to meet your family’s request. Feel free to get in touch with us or click below to see some of the monuments that we have provided to families in the past.
Be assured that our caring and knowledgeable staff is here to assist you every step of the way in choosing a memorial.
Guest Memorials works with local stone-smiths to finalize the memorial for your loved one. From placing a date of death or adding another family member to an existing stone, to labeling signposts in your cow-pasture, we ensure the job is done right.
At Guest Memorials, we use high quality cleaning agents that work to gently remove dirt and lichen without damaging the granite. We follow the CCUS standards for "do no harm" cemetery preservation.*
We take pride in making your family's stone beautiful again.
On July 1, 2016, Stephen and Helen Robertson founded Caledonia Life Services, Inc. (CLS) with the goal of serving the lower Northeast Kingdom in a variety of ways.
Guest Memorials was originally owned by Chuck Guest and his wife Beth. They ran the business together while they grew their family; with Beth doing their artwork and Chuck placing stones.
Eventually Chuck and Beth sold the business to Mark and Julie Godfrey who ran it together for ~30 years while raising their own family.
In 2019 Stephen and Helen Robertson added Guest Memorials to their family business.
Their daughter, Liz Robertson Little, and her husband Robert Little, run this division with the same care and passion that the other divisions of CLS are known for.
In keeping with tradition, Liz and Robert are raising their family while serving yours.

In an effort to keep our cemeteries beautiful and honor the deceased who are resting there, Guest Memorials donates time and materials to clean the gravestones of those who no longer have living family members.
We are seeking donations to help offset the cost of supplies for those stones. Our time is always donated.
