Virginia (Ginny) Boyle of North Danville, VT died peacefully on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Summit by Morrison in Whitefield, NH with family by her side.
Ginny was born August 14, 1931 at the family home in North Danville. She was the only child of Walter and Gladys (Newland) Hubbard.
Ginny graduated from Phillips Academy and Danville High School in 1949. Ginny was a registered nurse. Ginny graduated from Barre City Hospital School of Nursing (Barre, VT) on September 11, 1952 and she married Army Private Rodger W. Boyle at her family home in North Danville September 14, 1952.
This began a twenty-seven year adventure of moving around the United States and Europe as she and the family relocated frequently based on Rodger’s military assignments. Rodger retired from the Army in 1976 and the family has resided at the family home in North Danville ever since.
Ginny was predeceased by her husband of nearly 55 years, Rodger, in 2007 and one son, Sidney, in 2018. She is survived by eight children: Samuel Boyle and wife Katherine of North Danville, VT, Steven Boyle and wife Laura of Mexico, Sarita Lanpher of Lancaster, NH, Sophia Boyle Hall and husband Kent of Lyndonville, VT, Stan Boyle of Seattle, WA, Sanford Boyle and wife Lori of St. Johnsbury Center, VT, Stacey Boyle and wife Ember of Isle la Motte, VT, Simone Boyle-Nowacki and husband Pawel of Binghamton, NY, and daughter-in-law, Kristeen Boyle of Jefferson, WI; 23 Grandchildren and 25 Great-grandchildren.
Ginny was a life-long learner, lover of animals and found wonder in nature. She walked miles daily while she lived in North Danville; and was missed by the community when she moved to Whitefield, NH in 2020. Ginny volunteered in support of many different organizations throughout her lifetime such as Red Cross, Sunday School teacher, Christian Women’s Club, North Danville Ladies Aid Society, and more than ten thousand hours at the Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) in St. Johnsbury.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 10 am at the North Danville Baptist Church with pastor Diane Raymond officiating. Burial will be at the Massey Cemetery in North Danville.
