Vera Rice
July 29, 1926 — May 8, 2016
Vera Rice of East St. Johnsbury went home to her Lord on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at the age of 89.
Vera was known for her feisty spirit and generous heart and will be sorely missed by her family. Her family thanks the staff at St. Johnsbury Health and Rehab Center where she spent the last year of her life.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Sharon and Chip Iverson of East St. Johnsbury with whom she made her home for 19 years; her two beloved grandchildren, Joshua Iverson and Alexis Lohr of Burlington, Carissa Iverson of Boston; her year old great-granddaughter McKinlee Iverson as well as many nieces and nephews.
Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Hazlet, New Jersey at the Shoreland Memorial Gardens.
