Tina Marie Hamel

 Tina Marie Hamel, age 58, of North Danville Road, passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side on Sunday evening, December 24, 2023.

 Tina was born in St. Albans, VT, on July 8, 1965, daughter to the late Robert J. Gervais and Lucille (Badger).  She grew up in St. Johnsbury and graduated for the Academy in the Class of 1983.  She worked as a Dietary Aide at St. Johnsbury Health and Rehab as well as the Pines, where she has worked the past three years. Tina was strong willed and very family centered. Trips to Old Orchard Beach were a big favorite. She loved playing with her grandchildren, sitting on the deck and enjoying the outdoors, especially when family was there.

  She is survived by her husband of over 15 years: Jeremy Hamel of St. Johnsbury, her sons: Sean Lamphear (Emma LaCoss) of Newport Center, VT, Scott Gervais (Savanna Wojciechowski) of Methuen, MA, a brother: Paul Gervais (April) of East Burke, VT, 2 grandchildren: Landon and Ellie, with two more expected in the coming weeks; and several nieces.

  She was also predeceased by 2 siblings: Lori Gervais and Raymond Gervais.

  There will be no Calling Hours. A gathering will take place in the spring/summer 2024.
