Tim was a self-employed plumber. When his health was better, he spent a lot of time hunting and fishing. Golf, though, was always his first love. At one time he held the course record at St. Johnsbury Country Club. In recent years he golfed more at Kirby Country Club.
He is survived by his two sons: Jarrid McKee of Burlington, Jason McKee and Kimberly Post of Waterbury; two grandchildren: Ciara McKee and Cooper McKee; two sisters: Linda Stafford and husband Neil of St. Johnsbury, Lisa Capodagli and her husband William of Agawam, Ma., his brother Todd McKee and wife Shannon of Littleton N.H.; aunts and uncles; one niece, five nephews, and their families.
A tribute to Timmy will be held at the St. Johnsbury Country Club this Sunday, May 17; a social half hour will begin at 4:00 p.m. with a brief remembrance beginning at 4:30 p.m.
Timmy will be remembered as a gifted golfer. His father started teaching him at a young age and he played on the golf team at the Academy. His boys and golf were his life.
