Tammy Maurice of St. Johnsbury died unexpectedly after a brief illness Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016 at the age of 55.
Tammy was born in St. Johnsbury on October 25, 1960 to her mother Gloria Berube and father Wayne Bumps. She attended Peacham Academy.
Tammy enjoyed camping and picnics with her family. She also loved going fishing. Her grandchildren were "her everything". Christmas was a very special time of the year for her. She was formerly employed at Weidmann. She enjoyed bowling with her mom and daughter.
She is survived by her husband Jeff Maurice; her mother Gloria Berube of St. Johnsbury; her father Wayne Bumps of Keene NH, daughter Shannan Smith and husband Johnathan of St. Johnsbury; two step-children: Crista Maurice and Leah Maurice both of Danville; 3 grandchildren: Ivie Carle and Charles Smith both of St. Johnsbury, and Jamieson Maurice of Danville; brother David O'Dell and wife Maryann of St. Johnsbury; mother-in-law Blanche Maurice of Littleton NH; brother-in-law Gary Maurice and wife Marie of Stone Mt., Georgia; nieces and nephews.
