Talea (Campbell) Faxon, age 62, of Raymond Street in Lyndonville, VT, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
Talea was born on Wiesbaden, Germany, on December 27, 1955, daughter to Logan B. and Myrneil (Hamilton) Campbell. Being the child of Air Force parents, she spent her younger years moving around and experiencing different places. She attended high school in Plaistow, NH, graduating from Timberlane Regional High School, Class of 1973. Talea lived in Alexandria, VA, from 1999-2012 and worked as a contractor for SRA International in Washington, DC, and as a florist at Conklyns in Alexandria, VA. In August of 2014, she married Stephen William Gamble enjoying 4 years as wife and homemaker.
Talea was always very active especially when she was young having participated in the Jr. Olympics in gymnastics. She loved crafting, cooking, singing, and gardening. Talea was a nurturer- be it plants or people, kids, teens, and the elderly. There was not a person she knew that she held anything against.
She is survived by her husband: Steve Gamble of Lyndonville, VT; her 4 children: Ashleigh Faxon of Annandale, VA, Adam Faxon of Denver, CO, Katie Faxon of Sterling, VA and Billy Faxon of Denver, CO; her “Godson”: Ray Banks of Richmond, VA; a special niece: Suzi Hatfield and husband, Jeff, of Danville, NH; her father’s widow: Nora Campbell, of Alberta, Canada; 3 brothers: Logan Campbell and wife, Eileen, of Fort Meyers, FL, David Campbell and wife, Diane, of Hillsboro, NH, and Craig Cambell and wife, Marion, of Rising Sun, MD; 2 sisters: Stephanie Garlow and husband, Don, of Bellville, MI, and Shawn Jolie of Venice, FL
A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018, 2PM, at Lyndon Center Cemetery, Lyndon Center, VT.
