Scott Alan Maxwell, age 57, of Pleasant St. passed unexpectedly at his home on March 3, 2024.
Scott was born in Lancaster, NH, August 1, 1966, son to the late Stanley Edward Maxwell and Jeannette (Couture) Maxwell. He grew up in Jefferson NH and graduated from White Mtn. Regional in the class of 1984. Scott married Lori Ann (Beavers) on July 18, 1998 and lived in Vermont, though he was proud to be from New Hampshire. His career started as a machinist and he quickly gained a fondness and eagerness for learning more. This led him to have extensive expertise in the manufacturing field. His career path led him to Momentum Manufacturing Group (formerly NSA Industries,) where the joy for his work was renewed in the process engineer position.
Scott enjoyed the outdoors, where he spent his time fishing, camping, kayaking, and napping in his hammock or in front of a campfire. He also enjoyed spending time with family, whether it was simply watching movies at home or on the yearly camping trip to Bar Harbor, ME. He vacationed with family to various states throughout the years, which brought many great memories and appreciation for each state’s special qualities. He loved seeing live music, as well as having a good laugh, teasing others, and time spent with good friends. He was a strong man with a kind heart who loved his family, and he adored his two boys and his loving wife.
Scott is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lori Ann (Beavers), two sons, Aidan Maxwell of Saint Johnsbury, VT, Ryker Maxwell of Lyndonville VT, three sisters Edna Niles of Littleton NH, niece Joanna (Josh Caissie) Cardinal of Somerville, MA, Cheryl Maker of Littleton NH, Katherine Wallace of Jefferson NH, one brother, Micheal (Patricia) Maxwell of Leesburg, FL, sister-in-law Carol (Hilliard) Maxwell of Pembroke, NH, sister-in-law Natalie Maxwell of The Villages, FL, mother-in-law Linda (Danielson) Beavers, sister-in-law Sheri Lynn Beavers of Cotati CA, and many beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
