Sandra Jean Paquin, age 66, of Hard Scrabble Mountain Road, Sheffield, VT passed away at her daughter's home in Walden, VT, surrounded by her family, on Monday May 9, 2016, following a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Sandra was born in Hanover, NH, on March 1, 1950, daughter to Helen Dorothy Smith and the late Roy Albert Lanpher who passed in 1989. She was raised and educated in Alstead NH. On August 27, 1966, she married Alfred "Fred" Paquin and they have shared 52 wonderful years together.
Sandy was also predeceased by her step-father Walt Wilson of East Haven, her nephew Daryl Davis of Keene, NH, and her grandson George Howard Stone of Sheffield, VT.
Sandy loved butterflies and flowers. She enjoyed yard sales, rodeo, horse racing, all animals and going for rides and trips with all of her family. She also enjoyed cooking and feeding and taking care of her immediate and huge extended family.
She is survived by her beloved husband: Fred Paquin, her mother: Helen Wilson of Lyndon and her siblings Elaine and Joe, Lorraine, Dotty and Paul. Sandy and Fred also celebrated and enjoyed their family consisting of but not limited to their children Buzzy and Barb, IJ and Erin, Heidi and Eugene, Heather and Howard, and Helen. Their grandchildren David, Scott, Patrick and Eric, Gaston and Effie, Forrest., Amber and Travis, Anthony, Colby and Amanda D, Chris, Abby and Aaron, Alicia, Amanda and Trevor, Phil and Kayla, Shannon, Hannah and Hunter. Savanna and Rick, Ryan and Elizabeth, Danielle, Robert, and Dan. Their great grandchildren Cameron, Liam, Koal, Keria, Tessa, Francis, Hunter, Dylan, Colten, Ruger, Conner, Greyson, Beckett, Emmett, Neveah, Kinslee, Lennix, Waylon, Tycie, Lylah, Quentin, Iris, Bella, Lydia, Alex, Bailey, Brandy, and Peanut. Also their will be four new babies in 2016. Two girls, one boy and one still undetermined. Sandy also had numerous relatives near and far and will be greatly missed by all.
A celebration of Sandy's life will be held at the Touch of Grace Church in Hardwick, VT, on May 22nd at 1:30. The family has asked that people bring a dish to share as this was one of Sandy's favorite ways to celebrate all family events. There will be music and remembrance of this wonderful ladies life.

Also as many know Fred and Sandy lost there house in January and the family would appreciate any pictures that could be brought to share at the celebration and any that could be left with Fred.
