Ruth Ann Rocheleau

            St. Johnsbury, VT: Ruth Ann Rocheleau, age 81, of Railroad Street, died at the Springfield Hospital, December 9, 2023, following a recent decline.

            Ruth was born in Lyndonville, VT, on March 25, 1942, daughter to the late Gerald C. and Pauline (Dopp) Mitchem.  She was raised and educated in St. Johnsbury and Sheffield, VT.  Ruth worked many years in housekeeping at the St. Johnsbury Health & Rehab.  She enjoyed doing Word-searches, watching her soap operas and enjoyed reading until her eyesight started failing in the past few years.

            She is survived by 4 children: Robert “Bobby” Rocheleau of St. Johnsbury, Tina Ball of St. Johnsbury, Jackie Goodwin (Douglas) of Lyndonville, and Dane Rocheleau (Tracy) also of Lyndonville, 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

            She was predeceased by her son: Wayne Rocheleau in 2022 and 3 siblings: Lena, Willy Mitchem and Althea DeGreenia.

            A Graveside Service will be held in the spring at the Sulfur Springs Cemetery in Wheelock, date to be announced. There will be no services at this time.
