Roxanne Gorham, age 73, of Lyndonville, passed unexpectedly, Saturday, August 17, 2024.

Roxanne was born on December 4, 1950, daughter to the late Dennis and Nylene (Cole) Davis. She grew up in Lyndonville and graduated from Lyndon Institute in the Class of 1970. It was on September 2, 1972, that she married her beloved, Fred Gorham, sharing over 48 years together. She dedicated her time and energy to volunteering at church and Faith and Action, spreading kindness and compassion wherever she went. You would often find her doing dishes at the Methodist Church booth during the fair. Despite facing numerous health challenges, including being born with Spina Bifida, battling breast cancer, and living with rheumatoid arthritis, she displayed unwavering strength and resilience, inspiring all who knew her. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They brought her so much pride and joy. 

Roxanne is survived by her two daughters Peggy Buckingham and her husband Scott of Charleston, SC, Betsy Bartlett and her husband Nathan of Wheelock, 7 grandchildren: Alyssa and husband Mark Raisner, Preston LaCoss II and wife Desiree, Ashtyn and husband Brandon Hartshorn, Joshua Buckingham, Patric Edmunds, Cameron Bartlett, Cody Bartlett and wife Trisha. 9 Great grandchildren: Molly and Maddox Hartshorn, Emersyn and Madilyn LaCoss, Caleb Raisner, Gavyn Perkins, Keaghan, Wesley and Leighana Bartlett. 

Her Aunt Beverly Tripp, twin brother Russel Davis and wife Linda, Sister-in-law Sally Davis, Regina Davis, Wanita Gardner and husband, Don, Brother-in-law Carl Mazzini, Sister-in-law Carolyn Guest and husband, Rick, Judy Doria and husband, David. Nieces and Nephews: Kim Hirsch, Sarah Kelly and husband Dan, Michael Mazzini and wife Kate, David Mazzini, Molly Doria and Jeremy, Kate Doria and Doug, Ben Doria and Doug Peleska. Cousins: Deanne Robinson, Lois Tripp, Steve Tripp.

She was predeceased by her husband Fred Gorham, her parents, Nylene and Dennis Davis, Father-in-law Aldis and Mother-in-law Shirley Gorham, her brothers Ricky and Phil Davis, Sister-in-law Esther Mazzini and her niece Amy Davis.

A Celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 11AM at the Outing Club, 1580 Lily Pond Rd, Lyndonville, VT with Rev. Barb Dwyer officiating. Join family to share food and memories together.
