Robert G. "Bob" Boucher, 65, of Sutton, died Sunday afternoon, February 22, 2015 at his home with his wife Tammy by his side.
He was born May 20, 1949 in Taunton, MA the son of Gerard and Agnes (LeClair) Boucher. He graduated from Taunton High School in 1967.
Bob worked for Weidmann Industries in St. Johnsbury as a machine operator for more than twenty years. Following retirement he operated Dad's Farm Stand in Sutton selling started plants, jams, maple syrup and honey and produce. He enjoyed his small farm, his horses and other animals and attending Native American Events. He and Tammy also loved to eat at the Everybuddy's Casual Dining Restaurant in Lyndonville and the Miss Lyndonville Diner.
He was a down to earth person who loved his family, friends and community. He served his community as an EMT/Fire Fighter with the Newark Fire Department for several years. Survivors include his wife, Tammy of Sutton; his daughter and grandson, Maegan Boucher and her son Cole Boucher of Sperryville, VA; four step-daughters, Jessica Kennedy of South Burlington, VT, Jen Kenney and her husband Krys of Londonderry, NH, Jamie Jancola and her husband Dave of Bordentown, NJ and Elizabeth Kennedy of Swanton, VT; six step-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins including a favorite cousin, Karin Smith of Taunton, MA; and many friends including his special friends, Chris and Cindy.
He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Alfred Boucher.
Funeral services will be held in Lyndonville on Tuesday March 3, at 4:00PM at the Guibord Funeral Home with Mr. John Sleeper officiating.
Friends may call on the family prior to the start of the service beginning at 2:00PM.
