Robert Badurski

Robert 'Bob' Badurski passed away, at his Waterford home, surrounded by his loved ones, on Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015, Thanksgiving Day, at the age of 76.
He was born in Washington, D.C. on Aug. 12, 1939, the son of Stephen and Mary Elizabeth (Bruce) Badurski.
Bob and Freda moved from College Park, Md., to Waterford, Vt., in 1981. Bob was an active member of the community where he served as a charter member of the Waterford Volunteer Fire Department for 21 Years, a Waterford Fire Warden for many years, a Waterford Santa Fund Deliveryman and also worked at the Waterford Transfer Station. Bob was the person anyone could count on when they were in need.
He is survived by his wife Freda (Vaughn) Badurski; four children: daughter Sindi Barcomb and husband Lee of Waterford, daughter Linda Hann and husband Jim of Leavenworth, Kansas, son Stephen Badurski and wife Karen of Sheffield, son Ricky Shifflett and wife Debbie of Littleton, N.H.; seven grandchildren: Shawn and Jessy Pelow of Waterford; Robert and Matthew Badurski of Sheffield; Kristina, Karen, and Kristopher Hann of Leavenworth, Kansas; five great-grandchildren.
The family will observe a celebration of his life at the Badurski home on 1535 Remick Rd. next Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, from 2-4 p.m. Anyone wishing to stop by is welcome.
