Rita Miller

Rita J. (Cassady) Miller, 88, passed away August 31, 2017 in Lyndonville, VT.  She was the beloved wife of Jesse C. Miller of Falmouth, MA for 48 years.  Together they raised seven children.  After Jesse died in 1996, Rita moved back to her hometown to be closer to her brothers and sisters.  She was very happy there.

Rita leaves her children: Sharon, Marcia (Fred), Shane (Terri), Stephen, Marijune (Chuck), and Martin.  Her son Michael died in 1992.  She leaves her grandchildren: Fred III, Andrea (Ron), Bryan, Tim, Jessie, Cameron, Jake and Kyle. Rita leaves her dear sister and best friend, Ruth Wheeler, her baby brother, Richard Cassady and wonderful sister-in-law Claire Cassady.  Her entire Vermont family loved her so much.  Rita was predeceased by her parents David and Marjorie Cassady, her sister Eleanor Peck, sister-in-law Dorothy and brothers, Wendell, Wayne, Elwin and Lawrence Cassady.

There will be a Celebration of Rita's life for family and friends in Lyndon Center at a later date.
