St. Johnsbury, VT: Rita C. Clough, age 86, of Waterman Circle in St. Johnsbury, VT, passed away at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital on Tuesday, December 26, 2017.
Rita was born on April 24, 1931, in Montpelier, VT, daughter to Leopold and Germaine (Gagne) Peltier. She graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy. Rita married Leon Clough and enjoyed her life with him until his death in 2012. She was a member of St. John Church in St. Johnsbury.
Rita is survived by 1 step-son, 2 step-daughters, 6 grandchildren' and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband: Leon Clough.
A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Fr. Curtis Miller will take place January 26, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Church, St. Johnsbury, VT at 1pm.
A second Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Fr. Curtis Miller will take place May 9, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Church, St. Johnsbury, VT at 1pm. Burial will follow immediately at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. John Street, St. Johnsbury, VT.
There will be no calling hours.
