Richard S. Cole

Richard S. Cole, 38, of St. Johnsbury, passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2024.

Richard was born in St. Johnsbury on December 31, 1985 to Stephen and Rosemary (Kozicki) Cole. He graduated from Danville High School in 2003 before beginning a career as a construction laborer. “Big Rich” was full of life, enjoying everything outdoors from fishing and hunting to gardening and nights by the campfire. He was a big fan of the Boston Red Sox & New England Patriots. Most of all, Richard loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, most especially his beloved daughter Adriana. 

Richard is survived by his parents Stephen and Rosemary Cole; daughter Adriana, chosen stepson Kolby Blair and their mother Holly Blair; brother Matthew Cole and his children Jasmine and Kiyah Cole; grandmother Ruth Cole and her special companion Don; uncle Timothy Cole and his wife Kimberly; cousin Brandon Smith; cousin Travis Cole, his wife Cindy, and their children Kyleigh, Timothy, and Ryan; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents Richard D. Cole and Joe & Diana Kozicki. 

A celebration of Richard’s life will be held at a later date.
