Priscilla Marie Racine, age 86, of River Road, passed at her home peacefully with family by her side Monday, March 21, 2016.
Priscilla was born in Nashua, NH, on January 24, 1930, daughter to the late George and Beatrice (Berube) Revere. She was raised and educated in St. Johnsbury and married Edward Joseph "Pete" Racine on June 1, 1947. She was a wonderful and devoted wife and they were together 70 years. She loved working in her flower beds, going bowling, was a member St. John the Evangelist Church, the local Doll Club and was an Avon representative.
She is survived by her husband, Pete Racine of St. Johnsbury; children: Raymond Racine and his wife, Delia, of the Philippines, Gloria Cass and her husband, Edward, of Hartland, VT, Phillip Racine of Palmetto, FL, Phillip's wife, Donna, passed away 2 months ago, also surviving her son: David and wife Nadine McCue of Palmetto, FL; her brother: Paul Revere of Navarre, FL; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Other family members are: John Nelson of Rhode Island, Joyce Nelson of Peterborough, NH and their children: Julie Nelson of Vermont, Joy O'Rourke of Texas and Jennifer Arsenault of Montana.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at St. John the Evangelist Church on Winter Street in St. Johnsbury. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Caledonia Home Health & Hospice, 161 Sherman Drive, St. Johnsbury, VT 05819.
