Peter Belanger

Peter Michael Belanger, age 46, of Sutton, VT, died suddenly on Sunday, February 18, 2018, on I-89 in a tragic accident, taking he and his son's lives together.

Peter was born in Newport, VT on August 23, 1971.  He is survived by his parents: Charles and Colleen (Sheltra) Belanger of Sutton, his fiancé', Jamie Garand and her daughter, Leah, also of Sutton.  He had many hobbies and interests such as hunting with gun and archery, fishing off shore or with his bass boat.  Peter loved spending time with his son, family and friends.  He was pre-deceased by two pairs of grandparents, his Aunt Lorena Hunt and Aunt Pat Twombly.  He had many cousins, aunts and uncles.  His son, Andrew Lewis Belanger, age 15, died with his dad that day in the accident.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018, 12 - 2PM at the  Guibord Funeral Home, 15 Main Street in Lyndonville, VT.

A Memorial Service officiated by Pastor Alfred Nelson will follow at 2pm immediately following visitation.

Burial will take place in the spring at the convenience of the family.
