Patrick Erin Cossey, 52, of St. Johnsbury, VT passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at his home with his family by his side. Born in Denver, CO on April 3, 1969, Patrick was the son of Gene and Simone (Saltel) Cossey. He worked for NSA Industries during his time in Vermont.
Patrick was a kind-hearted man with a sharp sense of humor and great pride in his Irish heritage. He enjoyed nature, science, magic, movies/TV, following current events, music, playing guitar, making jewelry, enjoying the seasons and holidays, spending time with family, and helping others. He moved to Vermont from Colorado in 2008 to be with the love of his life, whom he married in 2011 in a beautifully magical Celtic-inspired ceremony. He was loved deeply by his family and everyone he met.
Surviving family members include his loving wife of 10 years: Ginger Cossey of St. Johnsbury; his father: Gene Cossey of Denver, CO; step-son: Caleb Kittredge of St. Johnsbury; four brothers: Danny Cossey and wife, Kate, of Englewood, CO, Tom Young and wife, Toni, of Salmon, ID, Bruce Young of Bellevue, NE, and Norm Clark and wife, Susan, of Phoenix, AZ.
Patrick was predeceased by his mother: Simone Marie Saltel Cossey and a sister: Roberta Cossey.
There will be no services at this time. Ginger and Caleb plan to return Patrick’s remains to Colorado.
