Patricia Colon

Patricia Ann (Sheridan) Colon, 82, of St. Johnsbury, VT, passed away suddenly on September 25, 2024 at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital.

Pat was born on December 27, 1941 in Philadelphia to James and Thelma (Cosgrove) Sheridan. She was raised in Camden, NJ, graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1960. She married Edward Colon on February 10, 1962, sharing 62 years together before his passing on July 28, 2024.

Pat made a career in the gaming industry, working her way up to a Casino Dealer/Supervisor before retiring to Vermont. She enjoyed embracing her Irish ancestry through genealogical work that led her to meet relatives during her travels to Ireland. She enjoyed photography, knitting, Irish music, Irish coffees, and a good old fashioned! Over everything, Pat loved her family that continued to grow throughout her life.

Pat is survived by her siblings Terry Sheridan, Kathy Collins, and Joe Sheridan; children Linda (Jeff) Rondeau of Lebanon, CT, Sheila Colon-Cacciatore of Roanoke, VA, Cheryl (Gus) Patouhas of Merchantville, NJ, and Faith (Ron) Amirikian of Centerville, MD; grandchildren Melissa Lemmon, Tristen Miller, Stephen, Cpl. Gianni, AJ, & Alyssa Cacciatore, Brittney Harries, Kayla Koch, Mikey Gismonde, Lisa Larson, Samantha Davis, Tony Amirikian, Mike, Joe Wheeler, and Mark Colon; great-grandchildren Ethan & Emma Miller and Evo & Ori Koch; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, son Tim Colon, and brothers Dennis, John, and Jimmy Sheridan.
