Neil Roger Badger, Sr., age 61, originally of Sutton, VT, passed away at the Jack Byrne Palliative Care Center in Lebanon, NH, on June 19, 2019, following a brief illness.
Neil (also known as Scuffy), was born in St. Johnsbury, VT, on March 12, 1958, to Virginia (Sheltra) and the late Roger E. Badger and was raised and educated in Sutton. He graduated from Lyndon Institute with the Class of 1976 and worked as a trucker for many years while living in VT, Colorado, and Kansas. Neil's passions included Harley Davidson motorcycles, racing and collecting RC cars, and boating. He coached baseball for a time and also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling as well as taking his family to camp every year.
Neil is survived by his mother: Virginia Badger of Sutton, VT, his children: Jonathan Badger (Naomi) of Irasburg, VT, Bobbie-Jo Badger (Mike Davis) of Burke, Travis Ramsdell (Clarice) of Concord, Neil R. Badger, Jr. (Brittany Chandler) of Lyndonville, 2 sisters: Audrey Stone (Dale) of Sutton, Gail Larose (James) of W. Burke, and his grandchildren: Charlize Badger, Kaylyn Badger, Cody Davis, Brianna Davis, Chance Davis, and Alexander Badger as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at the Sutton Village Cemetery with the Rev. Barbara Dwyer officiating. There will be no calling hours.
