Natalie Gould

Natalie L. Gould, 93, originally of Lyndon Corner, passed away on May 14, 2024 at the Pines Rehabilitation & Health Center.

Natalie was born in Lake Placid, NY on October 2, 1930 to George and Joyce (Bickford) Smith. Her career revolved much around baking. She was well-known for her elegant wedding cakes and took great pride in creating cakes for her children’s weddings. She was a person who enjoyed order, always keeping her house impeccably clean. At the same time, Natalie enjoyed everything life had to offer, taking advantage of every opportunity to play Bingo and took time to travel; she flew for the first time in her 80s! Above all else, Natalie loved her family, companionship, and was known for having a kind heart.

Natalie was predeceased by her parents, son Edward Brown, Jr., and loving companions Edward Brown, Sr., Patrick Chicoine, and John Gould. She is survived by her brother Ronald (Helen) Johnson of Lowville, NY; children Gloria Chicoine of Albany, VT, Cathy (Dennis) LaCourse of Waterford, VT, Christine Brown, and Marc (Cindy) Brown of Wheelock, VT; grandchildren Tammy (James) Wilkins of Waterford, VT, Dennis LaCourse, Jr. of Barnet, VT, Michalea Brown of Newport, VT, and Marc (Franny) Brown, Jr. of Orleans, VT; great-grandchildren Lucas (Christie) Wilkins, Tyler Wilkins, Hannah (Adrian) Friend, Derek (Sam) LaCourse, Katie (Melvin) LaCourse, and Layla Burbank; as well as her four great-great-grandchildren and numerous other extended family members.

A celebration of life will be held for Natalie at a later date.
