Nancy Lou (Noble) Pilette, 70, of Lynburke Road in Lyndon, VT passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018, surrounded by her family at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital in St. Johnsbury, VT.
Nancy was born in Barre City, VT on August 17, 1947, daughter to Earl and Vera (Berno) Noble. On April 18, 1964, she married Raymond Joseph Pilette, Sr. and shared 54 years with him as a homemaker and mom. She was a lifelong resident of the area living the last 25 years in the house that her husband, Ray, built for her.
Nancy would crochet anything especially beautiful dolls and hunting hats. She enjoyed crafting and her cooking was amazing. Years ago, she was known to frequent Bingo. Family was everything to Nancy. Each member of the family had a nickname. She loved to hear it all and woe to you if you didn’t tell her everything. She created wonderful family holidays. She brought the Lord into her family more than anyone. Nancy was full of personality and was a great protector of her own. She loved unconditionally and never judged anyone.
Nancy is survived by her husband: Raymond J. Pilette, Sr.; her five children, sons: Raymond, Jr. and Mark A. Pilette both of Lyndonville, VT, and Ralph Churchill (Lucille) of Highgate, VT and their children: Rachel and Erin Churchill; two daughters: Carmen M. Pilette of Texas and Tina N. Pilette (Todd Degreenia) of Lyndon, VT; 10 grandchildren: Tyler Boemig, Alysha Ann and Raymond, III Pilette, Amanda Garfield, Joseph Pilette, Jakob Gibney, Joshua and Jenna Pilette, Dominic and Ashley Bassett; 6 great-grandchildren: Anna and Aeron King, Jazlynn Spillane, Dominik Smyth, Lillyanne and Kendalynn Pilette; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents: Vera and Earl Noble; sisters: Jean Berwick and Phyllis Hurley; very special cousin: Rosemary Francis (Harold Fisher); mother- and father-in-law: Susan and Gerard Pilette; and sister-in-law: Patricia Pilette.
Services will be at a later date with burial at Plainmont Cemetery in East Montpelier, VT
