Myrtle Maude Davis Pike, age 80, formerly of Lincoln Street, passed away at the Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital in St. Johnsbury, VT, on February 16, 2016. She had been a resident at St. Johnsbury Health & Rehab Center.
Myrtle was born in Essex, England, on August 16, 1935. She was raised and educated in England before coming to the U.S. following her marriage in 1957. Myrtle lived much of her life in Port Jefferson, NY, before moving to Franklin, NH about 25 years ago. She has lived in St. Johnsbury for the past 5 years. Myrtle enjoyed knitting, watercolor painting and was a member of the Eastern Star while living in Franklin.
She is survived by her brothers: William and Peter, her sons: John, and Philip, her daughter: Karyn, five grandchildren: Jonathan, Heather, Coty, Joey, and CJ, and a great-granddaughter: Lily.
She was predeceased by her sister: Pamela and her daughter: Ella.
There will be no calling hours or services at this time.
Burial will take place at 1PM on Friday May 13, 2016, at Grove Cemetery, RT2, East. St. Johnsbury.
