Michael Nichols

Michael E. Nichols, age 61, of Gaskill Hill Rd, passed away at the Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 29, 2016, following a long period of declining health.
Mike was born on March 22, 1955, son to Howard Clinton Nichols and the late Virginia (Davis). He grew up in East Concord graduating from Concord High School in 1973. He worked for 41 years for Weidman retiring as the Shipper’s Lead Foreman. He enjoyed his work, loved to cook and liked being a loner, and he absolutely loved his granddaughters.
He is survived by his son: Michael E. Nichols, II and his wife, Tara, of Lyndonville and their daughters: Bailey and Kamryn, his father: Howard Nichols and his companion, Sandy Gonyer, of N. Concord, VT, a brother: Steve Nichols and wife, Louise, of Littleton, NH, his sister: Patricia Celino and husband, Ron, of Monroe, NH, his only niece: Stephanie Cogswell and a very close friend: Brenda Hackett of West Burke.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 2PM on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at the East Concord Cemetery, on Cozy Nook Road.
