Marjorie A. Dresser, 76, of St. Johnsbury, died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, at her home.
She was born Aug. 20, 1938, in Barnet, the daughter of Elwin and Lottie (Agon) Dresser. Marjorie grew up in Gilman and attended Concord High School.
In 1970 she moved to St. Johnsbury where she worked as a chamber maid at the Maple Center Motel for many years. She had also worked at St. John's Rectory for a time.
Marjorie loved her pet parakeets, cats and dogs, visiting with family and friends and going for long walks.
Survivors include her only child, Sabrina D. Doyon and her husband Reginald of Sutton (P.O. Box 99, West Burke 05871); a brother, Elwin Dresser of Gilman; a sister, Beverly Walker of Lancaster, N.H.; many nieces and nephews; and several good friends.
She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Howard Dresser and Richard Dresser Sr.; and three sisters, Pauline Dresser, Lois Wood and Margaret Williams.
Following her wishes there will be no services.
