Lynda Ann Mullally-Baker, age 67, of Mt. Pleasant Street in St. Johnsbury, VT, went to heaven on Sunday, January 28, 2018, with her family and friends by her side.
Lynda was born on May 17, 1950 in St. Johnsbury, VT, daughter to the late Donald Frank and Velvier Valerie (Findley) Mullally, Sr. She was raised and educated in St. Johnsbury graduating from St. Johnsbury Academy with the Class of 1968. Right out of high school, she got a job with HUD in DC where she worked as an Administrative Assistant for 20 years. After that she began working at an import-export law firm. She then heard Vermont calling her back and found work with her dad at the Radio Station and the Caledonia County Fair. Her latest endeavor was the Red Tag on Railroad Street.
She loved SJA and her time and coworkers at Red Tag. She wrote poetry, made jewelry, and did over a hundred beautiful pieces of needlepoint. She loved summer and as a child, summer camp.
Lynda was a lovely woman with a heart of gold and a style all her own. She was detailed, eclectic, humorous, and intelligent. Her stories kept everyone around her amused. She was a quirky cousin with forgiveness for all. Her brother describes her as a hard working, single, person of free spirit. Lynda loved life in its fullest. She was much loved and will be dearly missed.
She leaves behind two brothers: Don, Jr. and his wife, Diane, and Mike and his wife, Bernie; two nephews: Travis Mullally and Luke Mullally and his wife, Brittany and their three daughters; a niece: Celina Hemingway and her husband, Eric, and their two daughters; and her caregivers: her cousin, Mary Mullally-Foster, her best friend, Julie Kernearny, and her good friend, Sara McKenna.
Lynda was predeceased by her grandparents: Frank and Abby Mullally; her parents: Don and Val Mullally, Sr.; and husband, Frank Baker.
At Lynda’s request, there will be no services.
Donations can be made in Lynda’s name to the Elizabeth H. Brown Humane Society, 80 Buttonwood Lane, Victory, VT 05858.
