Leopold 'Poly' Mignault

Leopold Philip Mignault, “Poly”, age 90, of St. Johnsbury, VT, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at the Scenic View Community Care Home in Westfield, VT.

Poly was born in St. Johnsbury, VT, on March 20, 2017, son to Peter and Josephine (Trahan) Mignault.  He worked as a carpenter in his younger years and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church.

Leopold is survived by a niece: Jean Turgeon of Rochester, NH; three nephews: Raymond Garand of Norway, ME, and Richard and Robert Garand, both of St. Johnsbury.

He was predeceased by his parents and a brother: Father Phillip Mignault, by two sisters: Marie Lavoice and Yvonne Garand, and a niece Marie May.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at St. John the Evangelist on Winter Street in St. Johnsbury.  There will be no Calling Hours.

Burial will take place in the springtime at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery at 10AM on Tuesday May 8, 2018.
