Lawrence 'Larry' Delosa

Lawrence “Larry” Delosa, 73, passed away unexpectedly on December 7, 2023 at his home in St. Johnsbury.

  Born on October 16, 1950 to Onofrio Delosa and Alice Leach, Larry spent his entire life in the Northeast Kingdom, graduating from St. Johnsbury Academy in 1968 and working in various small businesses like Grant’s, Hovey’s, and Discount Video, where he was known to many in town. An avid collector of old movies and anything to do with The Beatles, Larry was best known for his sense of humor and always walking around town with a smile. While he knew many difficulties in life, he never allowed them to take away from the simple joys of life, such as playing cards or going over for coffee with his closest friends. 

He leaves behind his chosen family: Angala Devoid, her boyfriend Bryan Britt, and her son Corey; Randy Devoid, his girlfriend Becky Buck, and his children Scenic and Horizon; Marie and Donnell Dupuis, Kevin and Katrina Gray and their children Dylan, Kaylee, and Harper; and Gary and Marie Godfrey.

Friends may call on the family Tuesday, December 19, 2023, from 4:00-5:30PM at Sayles Funeral Home, 525 Summer Street, St. Johnsbury, VT, concluding with a funeral service at 5:30PM. Burial will be in on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 1pm at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
