Laura Ribiero

Laura Ribeiro, formerly of The Brightlook Apartments in St. Johnsbury, passed away at The Maple Lane Nursing Home in Barton on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016.
She was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts on Oct. 9, 1923 of Portuguese descent, the daughter of Fortunato and Alvira (Furtado) Cabral. Her husband Anibal Ribeiro passed away in 1980, and her sister Mildred Vieira last year in 2015.
She is survived by a few nieces and nephews.
A visiting hour will be held at the Sayles Funeral Home this Sunday, Sept. 25 from 2-3 p.m. Anyone wishing to pay their respects is welcome.
Committal services will be held at St. Johns Cemetery in New Bedford, Massachusetts the following day, Monday, Sept. 26 at 12 Noon.
The Sayles Funeral Home is located at 525 Summer St. in St. Johnsbury.
