Kimberly Marie Willis of St. Johnsbury died Saturday, May 23, 2015.
She was born in St. Johnsbury, Vermont on August 28, 1980, the daughter of Rocklyn and Elizabeth (Tobey) Rice. She attended St. Johnsbury Academy with the class of 1998, later obtaining her GED.
Her treasures were her children. She was very proud of Austin's culinary delights that he created at St. Johnsbury Academy and would surprise her with each afternoon. Levi's wrestling and football abilities would occupy much of her time with her cheering from the sidelines, and Taniel and her Mom shared a passionate love for frogs and had an extensive frog collection that often included live frogs. She loved her family and the out of doors, always exposing her children to hiking, fishing, camping and four wheeling; creating many beautiful memories with her children.
She is survived by her three children: Austin Dale Rice and Levi Scott Rice living in Waterford, and Taniel Autumn Farrow of Florida; her parents Rocklyn and Elizabeth Rice of Concord; maternal grandfather Thornton 'Ben' Tobey of Fairhaven, Mass., paternal grandmother Joan Bryant of Waterford; sisters Katherine Rice of Waterford, Karen Rice of St. Johnsbury, Ozora Rice of Concord; five nieces and nephews: Kaila, Kelsey, Anthony, David, and Neiko; several aunts and uncles living in Massachusetts and Rhode Island; aunt Deborah St. Jean and uncle George, uncle Benny Tobey and aunt Nancy, uncle Thomas Tobey, aunt Pamela Tobey; aunt Diana Rice and uncle David, uncle Richard Bryant of Florida, aunt Debbie Lawson and uncle Rob of Waterford, Vt.
She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, including her special best friend Theresa Newland and her son Nathan and her canine companion Rocky.
Family and friends will gather at the Sayles Funeral Home this Friday evening, May 29 from 5-8 p.m.
Her funeral service will be held at the Sayles Funeral Home on Saturday, May 30 at 11 a.m. Committal services will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Waterford.
