Kenneth Merchant

Kenneth Wilson Merchant, age 78, of Mountain View Apartments for many years, passed away at the Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital, Tuesday morning, December 27, 2016, following a very brief illness.
Ken was born in Beecher Falls, VT, on October 21, 1938, son to the late Wilson Chandler and Gerealdine Lucille (Gray) Merchant. He was raised and educated in St. Johnsbury. He married Eva M. (Morgan) and shared 31 years together at the time of her passing on July 5th this past year.
Ken is survived by his brother: Linwood “Peanut” Merchant of Lowell, VT, his sister: Evelyn (Alan) Thompson of Lyndonville, two step-daughters: Carol Ann Morgan and her partner, and Irma Baker and her partner Peter Godfrey, and three step-sons: Walter D. Parker and his partner Theresa Fifield, George E. Parker and wife Beatrice, and Lester J. Parker and wife Tammi, a niece: Elizabeth (Randy) McClure and two great nephews: Joshua and Nicholas McClure and many step-grand and great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his brothers: Lawrence Merchant & Donald Merchant.
There will be no calling hours. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
