Kathleen Gleason

Kathleen Ann Gleason, age 58, of Goodall Road, died at the North Country Hospital in Newport, VT, on Saturday, January 20, 2018, following a period of declining in health.

Kathleen was born on January 10, 1960, in Worcester, MA, a twin daughter born to the late Rudolph Joseph and Marie Lucille (Roy) Germain.  She grew up in Worcester graduating from South High in the Class of 1978.  She married Warren F. Gleason, and they were married for 28 years at the time of his death in 2008.  Kathy loved animals, the ocean, music and absolutely loved to dance. When her daughter, Nicole, was born she became a very devoted mother and made Nicole the focus of her life, but always continued to help people in any way that she could.  Kathy was a beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend and will be dearly and deeply missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Gleason of Holland, VT; her twin sister: Karen Savageau, of Holden, MA; 3 brothers: Mark Germain of Worcester, Brian Germain and wife, Dawn, of FL, Brad Germain and wife, Karla, of Worcester and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Kathy was predeceased by a sister: Marsha Painchaud.

Friends may visit and call on the family from 2-4PM on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at the Guibord Funeral Home, 15 Main Street in Lyndonville, VT.   Services and burial will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
