Joyce Lefaivre

Joyce E. Lefaivre, 81, of Lyndonville passed away on Thursday, December 06, 2018 at the UVM Medical Center in Burlington, VT.

Joyce was born in Lyndon, VT on November 11, 1937 the daughter of Harold and Mabel (Messier) Miles

She enjoyed gardening, wreath making, cruising on her 4-wheeler, snowmobiling, bingo and berry picking.  She made pickles, jams and jellies. She loved to watch her children and grand children play sports, dance recitals, plays and concerts. She was extremely creative with her arts and crafts and loved to spread them around to family and friends.

Survivors include her children: Larry (Oralie) Lefaivre, Donny (Debbie) Lefaivre, Sheila Leonard, Pam (Bernie) Dopp and Dana Lafaivre; grandchildren: Libby, Sam, Nicki, Jessie, Alyssa, Mason, Bobbi-Jo, Adam, BJ, Travis and Alexis; many nieces and nephews; many many special friends and her beloved pets: Lily, Casper and Tabby.

Joyce was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Keith in 1995; her siblings: Fred (Elizabeth) Chamberlain Sr., June (Edward) Randall, Sidney (Barbara) Chamberlain, Mae (Vincent) Yusitis, George (Lorraine) Chamberlain, Dorothy (Henry) Whipple, Reginald (Gertrude) Chamberlain and Everette Miles; her son-in-law, Chris Leonard.

A funeral service will take place at the First Congregational Church of Lyndonville on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 11:00am with the Rev. Bruce Comiskey officiating.  There will be no calling hours.
