Joshua Lunnie

Joshua J. Lunnie, 38, of Concord, Vermont passed away peacefully on Friday, July 28, 2017, at the Rutland Regional Hospital from complications of a heart attack over four years ago.

Josh was born in St. Johnsbury, VT on August 4, 1978, to Kathryn Lund and James M. Lunnie, Sr. He was raised and educated in Concord, graduating from Concord High School in the Class of 1996, and attended a year at UVM in Burlington, VT. He worked in his father’s business, Jim Lunnie Concrete Construction where he was an integral part of the business. He enjoyed art, reading, shooting sports, water sports, concerts and music, playing video games with his brother Jimmy, playing poker with his friends Dwayne, Elmer, and Eric. Most importantly he loved spending time with his daughter Lilah and her siblings, Davey and Gabby.

Joshua is survived by his father: James M. Lunnie Sr., and his wife, Kate Fitzmorris, of Concord, VT, His mother Kathryn L. Hill of WA, his daughter, Lilah Mae Lunnie, his brother: James M. Lunnie, II and companion, Tasha L. Lanthier, of St. Johnsbury and four nephews: James M. Lunnie III, Christopher James Lunnie, Alexander Michael Lunnie and Bradley Xavier Lunnie, as well as Harold W. Lunnie and Paul W. Lunnie of Concord, VT.

Friends may call on the family from 6-8PM on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at the Sayles Funeral Home, 525 Summer Street in St. Johnsbury.

Funeral Services will be held at 10AM at the Funeral Home on Thursday August 3rd with Pastor Joshua Abetti officiating.
