John Charles Corriveau, 64, of Barton, VT passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019, at North Country Hospital in Newport, VT.
John was born on July 9, 1954, in St. Johnsbury, VT, son to Adelard and Blanche (McFarland) Corriveau. He was raised and educated locally. He worked at Burndys and then as a butcher for Landy Veal before his 17 years as a Park Ranger for the State of VT. John spent two years traveling across the country in a motor home. He loved the outdoors, BMW motorcycles, traveling the US, hiking, and backpacking. He liked to play music and enjoyed playing guitar in a band. He brewed his own beer and was an amateur photographer.
Survivors include a brother: Robert ‘Bob’ Corriveau of Newark, VT; a sister: Anne Knight and husband, Richard, of St. Johnsbury, VT; two nephews: David Knight and wife, Jillian, of Waterford, VT, and Devin Knight of St. Johnsbury; two grandnieces: Jordyn Rae and Piper Mae. He also had numerous cousins and was especially fond of Tom and D.J. LaForge. He also leaves behind a very dear friend, Mickey Normandin.
