Jerry Martin Davis, Jr. age 58, of Route 5A, formerly of Sargents Road, in Sutton, VT, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on Wednesday, March 1, 2017.

Jerry was born in New Haven, CT, on November 17, 1958, son to Jerry M., Sr. and Patricia Ann (Boughton) Davis. He was raised and educated in Connecticut graduating from Guilford High School. Jerry worked for his father's construction company, B & D in North Branford CT; then moving to Vermont in 1988 working as a Machinist at Northeast Tool, Vermont Tap & Die, and most recently NSA Industries.

He enjoyed watching football, NASCAR racing, gardening, cooking, and sitting by the campfire. Most importantly spending time with his children; camping, fishing and watching them play sports. Jerry had a love for family, animals, and Christmas time. He was generous, thoughtful, caring, and selfless.

Jerry is survived by his parents: Jerry and Patricia of Sutton, VT; his 3 children: Andrew Davis of Sutton, VT, Alyssa Davis of Chicago, IL, Adam Davis of Lyndonville, VT, and their mother, Karole Davis of Lyndonville, VT; 2 brothers: Scott Davis and wife, Lori, of Sutton, VT, and Rod Davis and wife, Rose, of Sutton, VT; and several aunt, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A visiting hour for friends and family will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 12 – 1pm at Guibord Funeral Home. Services will follow at the funeral home at 1pm. Guibord Funeral Home is located on the corner of Center St. and Main St. in Lyndonville, VT. Flowers and Gift Baskets can be sent to Guibord Funeral Home. A reception will follow at the Tom Breslin Community Center, 165 Main Street, in Lyndonville.
