Jeremiah Stalczynski

Jeremiah Eric Stalczynski, 37, of North Ave in St. Johnsbury, VT, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at his home.

Jeremiah was born in Chester, PA, on September 11, 1980, to the late Robert and Katherine (Amproseno) Stalczynski. He was raised and educated in International Falls, MN. In 2007, he married Renee Evelyn Theroux. Together with their son, they moved to this area in 2014. Jeremiah worked as a Mason Tender for all of his working life.

Jeremiah loved fixing things. He also enjoyed hunting, music, and camping.  He liked to be around his friends. He was an extremely giving person, willing to help anyone who needed help to the point of giving the last dollar he had if it was needed. Jeremiah was frightened to become a father but loved his son very, very much. He knew he wasn’t going to be around forever so enjoyed everything he did.

Jeremiah is survived by his wife of over 10 years: Renee Stalczynski of St. Johnsbury; a son: Jeremiah E. Stalczynski, Jr. of St. Johnsbury; the father who raised him: Jerry Bjork of International Falls, MN; 2 brothers: Robert Stalczynski (Robin) of Wilmington, DE, and Arthur Bjork of Middleton, DE; 3 sisters: Christine Rose (James) of Manchester, NH, and Melissa Stalczynski of Newark, DE, Amber Bjork of International Falls, MN; his mother-in-law: Janet Theroux of St. Johnsbury, VT; 3 sisters-in-law: Monica Theroux (Walter Ferguson) of Bar Harbor, ME, Michelle Cutting (Kevin) of Concord, NH, and Bobbi Jene Matuszak (Jason) of Hampstead, NH; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Friday, April 20, 2018, 6-8PM, at Sayles Funeral Home, 525 Summer Street in St. Johnsbury, VT.  A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018, 10:30AM, at Sayles Funeral Home with Rev. Kirk Thompson officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. Johns Street, St. Johnsbury, VT.
