Janice Morrill

Janice Morrill of North Danville passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016. She had resided at the Bellamy Fields Assisted Living facility in Dover, New Hampshire for the past three and a half years. Up until five days ago, she was a vibrant and active member of the Bellamy community.
She was born in Walden, Vermont on Dec. 5, 1926, the daughter of Israel and Burniece (Anderson) Farrow. Her husband of 44 years, Nathan, passed away 25 years ago. She was also predeceased by brothers Ted and John Farrow, and a sister Helen Mudgett.
Janice and Nate operated the Jay-Nay dairy farm in North Danville. A progressive businesswoman, Janice became a real estate broker and established the Morrill Real Estate agency. She was a member of the North Danville Baptist Church and participated in most all the activities of the North Danville community. Janice was a co-founder of the Market Swingers women's investment group.
Her grateful family has wonderful memories of shared family activities, summers on Joe's Pond, traditions at holiday and community events, her faithful attendance at school and sporting activities and the joyful celebration at the births of her grandchildren. Janice was known for making dozens of raised donuts during the sugaring season on their farm, dancing with ease to all kinds of music and showing grace and dignity through all her years.
She is survived by her four daughters: Lynn Desharnais and husband Robert of Barrington NH, Suzanne Morrill of Williston, Jane Morrill-Winter and husband Tim Winter of Henniker NH, Sandra Morrill Esparza and husband Henry of Denver CO; her seven grandchildren: Casey and Erin; Kaetlyn and Kendra; Jesse, Caleb, and Zachary; 3 great-grandchildren Dax, Sidney, and Whitley; several cousins, nieces, nephews and their families.
She is also survived by longtime partner and best friend Ed Senecal; they enjoyed family, dance, and travel, and especially loved to play golf at the St. Johnsbury Country Club.
Funeral services will be held in North Danville this Sunday, Feb. 7 at 1:30 p.m. at the North Danville Baptist Church. Committal services are scheduled at the Danville Green Cemetery for Friday, May 20 at 2 p.m. There will be no visiting hours.
