James C. Hunt, Sr., 65, of St. Johnsbury, passed away at the Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital on Thursday, April 14, 2016.
James was born in Barton, VT, on November 18, 1950, son to the late Orange Clifton Hunt and Carolyn (Linstruth). He is survived by his companion Viola Merrill of St. Johnsbury; brothers Robert Hunt and wife Rita of Haverhill, MA and Leslie Hunt of Sutton, VT; nephews Ira Hunt of Sutton, VT and James, Jr. of Hardwick, VT; and nieces: Penny Eastman of Maine, Robin Wright , Lisa Varonne and Kathy Rhyre all of MA.
There will be no calling hours or services at this time. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Sayles Funeral home is helping the family with arrangements.
