Gerald Conley, of Wesley Rd. in North Concord, died suddenly at home Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015 at the age of 52.
He was born May 12, 1962 in Leominster, Massachusetts, the son of Norman and Pauline (Anair) Conley.
Gerald formerly worked at Mobil Med Support Systems. He was a member of the Lunenburg Volunteer Fire Department, was a 4-H leader, and did side work for many people because it was just his nature to be helpful, a true "jack of all trades". Gerald's whole life revolved around his family and he enjoyed supporting any activities involving them. He loved riding his motorcycle and four wheeler, doing things outside, and being with his two dogs, Jasper and Bella.
He is survived by his wife Donna of North Concord; his father and step-mother Norman and Mae Conley of West Burke; father-in-law John Gagne of North Concord, and John's two children, Annalise and Michael, also of North Concord; nine children: Tammy Carbee and husband Nicholas of Woodsville NH, Matthew Conley and wife Stefani Vega of North Carolina, Elysia Conley of North Concord, Brittany Conley and Stephen Stone of North Concord, Anthony Conley and Ami Staples of St. Johnsbury, Kaytlin Reindeau and husband Joseph of Lyndonville, Ambre Conley of North Concord, Allison Conley of North Concord, Christopher Conley of North Concord; eleven grandchildren: Kyra, Aubrie, and Connor; Brendan and Kaylin; Destanie and Naeveh; Hayden, Jameson, and Griffin; and Raiden.
He is also survived his sister Virginia Lemire and husband James of Colebrook NH, sister Arvesta St. Peter and husband Dickie of Winchindon, Mass., sister Andrea Kenney and husband James of Lunenburg; special friend and cousin, Richard Losh and his wife Georgianna and their children Shawnee and William of Lunenburg; nieces and nephews; Donna's extended family, and other people he considered his further extended family.
He was predeceased by his mother, Pauline Conley, a sister Lannie Murray, and a brother Robert Anair.
Visiting hours will be held at the Sayles Funeral Home on Thursday, Feb. 26, from 5-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 27, at 2 p.m. at the Union Baptist Church located on US Rt. 5 one mile south of St. Johnsbury with Pastor Paul Powers presiding.
