Frederick Allen Richardson, 52, of Lyndonville died peacefully surrounded by close family at his home Friday evening, Dec. 9, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in St. Johnsbury on July 31, 1964, the son of Frederick and Irene (Cormier) Richardson.
Fred attended St. Johnsbury Community School as well as St. Johnsbury Trade School. He was a dedicated employee at McClure’s Honey and Maple Products in Littleton, N.H. for 29 years and was familiar with many facets of the company’s operation. He enjoyed gardening, lawn care, four-wheeling, hunting and fishing, motorcycles, watching old TV series and movies, spending time with family, and helping out when needed.
He is survived by his mother Irene of West Burke; close aunt Sylvia (Cormier) James of West Burke; daughter Ashley Jensen of Enfield, N.H.; sister Cindy (Richardson) Oxendine; cousins who grew up as siblings: Frederick E. James Jr., Edward A. James, Theresa (James) Young, and Kimberly (James) Rivers; nephews and niece Robert Bousquet, Tommy Bousquet, and Selina Bousquet Thompson; second cousins Adam, Andrew, Eddie, Eli, Makayla, Jasmine; several other close family, friends, and co-workers.
He was predeceased by his father, Frederick R. Richardson in 1994 and by a close uncle, Frederick E. James Sr. in 1999.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at the Guibord Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec. 22 from 6-8 p.m. concluding with a prayer service at 7:15 p.m. led by Pastor Rick Menard.
