Freda N. Clark, Born April 4, 1923 - Died June 22, 2018.
Freda attended school in St. Johnsbury, VT and served in the U. S. Navy from 1944 to 1946. She worked at Maple Grove Inc. for 38 years, starting as a candy packer and then packing department supervisor.
She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and spent many hours making things for her family and for the St. Johnsbury Santa Fund. Even at age 90 she wanted to keep up with technology and bought and used an IPAD to keep in touch with family.
She is survived by her daughter Norma Clark Leach and husband Terry, her son Norman and wife Sandy, her sister Ramona Bunnell and husband William, her grandchildren Jason Leach and wife Kim, Shane Clark and wife Sarah, Jeremy Clark and wife Lisa, Justin Biss and wife Amanda, Joshua Biss and wife Janelle and Kyle Biss, 15 great grandchildren, 7 great, great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents Dora and Norman Noyes, her daughter Carol Clark Biss and her husband Kenny, her brother Franklin Noyes Sr and wife Beverly, her sisters Louise Montgomery and husband Craig, Madeline Rutledge and husband Rodney, Norma Dimick and husband Wendall and her ex-husband of 50 years Walter M. Clark.
There will be no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 30 at 2 pm at the Sanborn Cemetery on Montgomery Road in East Hardwick, VT. Military honors will be observed to reflect her service in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
