Florence A. Barton, age 54, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in her sleep Wednesday morning, June 29, 2016, at her home on Newark Pond Road.

Flo was born in Ft. Kent, ME, on February 23, 1962, daughter to Emelene (Dube) and the late Alton Robbins.  She was raised and educated in Danbury, CT  graduating from Henry Abbott Regional Technical School.  She worked as a Supervising Nurse at the Pines Rehabilitation and Health Center where she has been for over 20 years.  She loved going to work and never complained about going there and was always willing to cover shifts when needed for her coworkers.  Florence loved her patients and would often get them presents.  She was an avid reader and movie buff, typically staying up late to another show. She was a wonderful wife, mom and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert W. Barton, Sr. of Newark and have shared 39 years together, also by her mother: Emelene Lenert of Danbury, CT, her daughter: Cheryl Ziembroski and her husband, Justin, of Lyndonville, her son: Robert W. Barton, Jr. and his wife, Corey, of Colchester, VT, and their son: Liam Shangraw, 2 brothers: Stanley and Lenny Robbins both of CT.

A gathering for family and friends to pay their respects, visit and share stories will be held from 2-4PM on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at the Guibord Funeral Home, 15 Main Street in Lyndonville, VT.  No formal services will be held and interment will be private.
