Eva Merchant

Eva M. Merchant, aged 78, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2016, at her home in St. Johnsbury, Vermont.
Eva was born in Moretown, VT, on October 5, 1937 to Irma (Lukeman) Morgan and Ralph Morgan. She spent much of her life devoted to her children.
Eva was the loving wife of Ken Merchant for 31 years. They have lived for many years at Mountain View Apartments in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, where she will be missed by many friends and neighbors.
Eva was predeceased by her brother, Donald and his wife, Beverly, and Eva's eldest son, Forrest Ralph Parker. She leaves two daughters, Carol Ann Morgan and partner and Irma Baker and partner Peter Godfrey, and three sons, Walter D. Parker and partner Theresa Fifield, George E. Parker and wife Beatrice, and Lester J. Parker and wife Tammi, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A remembrance ceremony will be held Friday, July 8th, at 2:00 p.m. at Sayles Funeral Home, 525 Summer Street in St. Johnsbury, VT with John Sleeper officiating. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
