Ethelyn Daley

Ethelyn C. Daley of Lyndonville passed away at the St. Johnsbury Health and Rehab Center on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017 at the age of 92 with family by her side.

She was born to Mary Atherton and Ernest Curtis in Stratford, NH on October 28, 1924.  On May 6, 1949, she married Daniel Daley and spent the rest of her life being a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Her family was always her top priority and greatest pride. She especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Elston/Eddie Hawkins (Gerry) of Lake City, Florida, Timothy Daley (Becky), Diane Stahler (Michael), Daniel Daley (Kathy) of Lyndonville, and Sue Mary Lunna (Henry) of Newport; grandchildren Kelly Patton (Ken), Katie White (Sheb), Jay Lunna, Michael Stahler (Jenn), Logan Stahler (Lara), Elizabeth Bard (Marc), Connor and Cameron Daley; great-grandchildren Amanda, Zachary and Hayden White, Nicholas Lunna, Logan Patton, Maia Stahler, Addyson Daley as well as sister-in-law June Buskey and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Dan, in 1993, sister Marilyn Cloutier, brother Raymond Curtis and many brothers- and sisters-in law.

The family invites you to join them for an informal gathering at the Darling Inn Dining Room in Lyndonville on Saturday, April 22nd from 1:00-4:00 p.m.

Interment will be at the Lyndon Center Cemetery at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Lyndon Rescue Squad, 114 Vail Drive, Lyndonville, VT 05851.
