Eleanor P. Hart of Dalton, NH passed away on Nov. 25, 2015 at The Country Village Genensis Health Care facility in Lancaster, New Hampshire where she resided since 2011.
She was born in Sheffield, Vermont on June 18, 1926, the daughter of Perley J. and Pearl Marion (Basnar) Simpson. She graduated from Lyndon Institute with the class of 1943.
Eleanor enjoyed going to yard sales, country western music and local stock car racing, picking berries, taking rides throughout the North Country, and playing her organ.
She is survived by her sister, Alice Baird and husband Rev. Richard Baird of East Lyndon; four children, David Skinner and wife Janet of Whitefield, N.H., Linda Enderson of Wasilla, Alaska, Rev. Dean Skinner and wife Debbie of Springdale, Arkansas, Stanley Skinner and Sandy MacKillop of Whitefield, N.H.; sister-in-law, Katherine Simpson of Brocksville Florida; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, Wendell Simpson, two sisters, Lois Gaskin and Edith Simpson, and a grandson, Randy Enderson.
Family graveside services will be held in May at the Lyndon Center Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours.
