Eleanor Badger, age 86, passed away at the Wrights Health Care Center in Seminole, FL. on July 10, 2015.
Eleanor was born in Barnet, VT, on January 28, 1929, daughter of the late Elmer Ross Moore and Edna Louise (White) Moore. She was raised and educated in St. Johnsbury, graduating from St. Johnsbury Academy in 1946. She married Fred Badger in 1969 and shared many years together. She worked as the secretary and bookkeeper at the Calderwood Funeral Home for many years. Eleanor loved to travel, read, and enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, rug braiding and crocheting.
Eleanor is survived by her 3 children: Linda and Don Coburn of Largo, FL., Thomas and Dianne Warren of St. Johnsbury, VT., and Diana Moore of Danville, VT., 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on the family from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at the Sayles Funeral Home, 525 Summer Street in St. Johnsbury. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, July 23 at the Sayles Funeral Home. Burial will take place at 2:30 PM at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Barnet, VT.
