Edwin Jones

St. Johnsbury, VT: Edwin Scott Jones, age 31, or Central Street died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday evening, February, 3, 2018.

Edwin was a lifelong resident of the Northeast Kingdom.  He was born in St. Johnsbury, VT on April 12, 1986, son to Sherrie Bernedene Jones and Jeffrey Edwin Gilman.  He graduated from Lake Region High School, lived in Lyndonville and Newark and has resided in St. Johnsbury for the past 15 years. His hobbies included basketball (Edwin was a Michael Jordan fan), collecting coins, cooking – and he was good at it, fishing and walking along the rivers with his dad and spending time with his daughter.

He is survived by his mother: Sherrie B. Jones (Tony Bijolle) of St. Johnsbury, his father: Jeffrey Gilman of Newark, his son: Ethan Tyler Jones of St. Johnsbury, his daughter: Aleena Evelyn Jones of E. Hardwick, his half-sister: Keanna Marie Salmon of NH, his step-sister: Autumn Banville, his niece: Makayla, and his nephews: Joseph and Isaac.

A private family gathering will take place at the convenience of the family.  There will be no calling hours.
