Donald Mechant, 67, of Lowell, VT died peacefully surrounded by his family on November 28, 2016.
Donald was born to Wilson and Geraldine (Gray) Merchant on February 28, 1948 in St. Johnsbury, VT.
Many will remember Donny working at Shop & Save, Butson’s and Marty’s. He loved going to flea Markets and playing bingo. Playing cards with his family and friends was also a favorite pass time for Donny.
He leaves behind a sister, Evelyn (Alan) Thompson of Lyndonville, two brothers; Kenneth Merchant of St. Johnsbury and Linwood Merchant of Lowell; a niece, Elizabeth (Randy) McClure and two great nephews, Joshua and Nicholas McClure.
He was predeceased by his parents and an older brother, Lawrence Merchant.
